The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Soil Resources Division held a tree planting event yesterday at the Statue of Liberty Park near the Paseo Stadium in celebration of Arbor Day.

The tree-centric holiday is celebrated around the world on different days and is usually observed with the planting of trees throughout respective communities.
