At a stop at the Tucson Interagency Fire Center on Thursday afternoon, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey and fire experts painted a grim picture of the upcoming fire season.
Firefighters say they are concerned about every fuel type at every elevation up and down the state.
"We've been 120 days in Arizona without any measurable precipitation," State Forester Jeff Whitney said. "We have a very thin snowpack."
