OREGON CITY, Ore. (KOIN) — Residents of Beaver Lake Estates are taking proactive steps to protect their homes from the threat of wildfires.

Beaver Lake is located about fifteen minutes southeast of Oregon City. Larry Felman has lived there with his wife for five years, and he brought lessons from their old house with him.
