BUTTE - A U.S. Forest Service decision on nearly 5,000 acres in the Flint Foothills, 6 miles southeast of Drummond, is expected to create 208 jobs and $8.9 million in labor income over the life of the project.

Of the nearly 5,000 acres in the Pintler Ranger District in Powell and Granite counties, 1,086 will be harvested for timber.
