GOLDEN, Colo. – The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) and Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) today released the results of the 2016 aerial forest health survey.
The results indicate that spruce beetle and Douglas-fir beetle populations continued to expand, while mountain pine beetle, western spruce budworm and Douglas-fir tussock moth populations continue to decline.
